The observation started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period starting on September 15 and ending on October 15.
In Grand Hacienda, we are very proud to be Hispanics and to share with you our roots, since we open our first Restaurant our goal was to bring a small piece o Mexico to the Tampa Bay Area. We love to share our Music, traditions, history, culture. So our restaurant shows Original handcrafts made by Mexican artisans, is decorated simulating an Hacienda of the colonial time of Mexico, you can see as well art showing the pre-Columbian era of Mexico.

A LITTLE HISTORY
The name pozole is based on the Nahuatl word for hominy (Maize), “pozolli.” Pozole is one of the most beloved and legendary dishes in Mexico.
